Access keys

This site uses access keys which are shortcuts to the main sections of the Global Ore website.
To use these keys on Internet Explorer 6 and higher, press ALT + the access key, then press Enter.
To use these keys on Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.1 and higher press ALT + SHIFT + the access key.
On a Macintosh, press CONTROL + the access key.

The following access keys are used across the site:

s - Skip the navigation to main content
n - Skip to side navigation
h - Homepage
m - Site Map
c - Contact Us
a - Accessibility
p - Privacy Policy
t - Terms & Conditions

Sitemap

In addition to using the main navigation you can use the Sitemap to navigate around this website.

Changing your browser settings

Guidance provided below explains how to alter browser settings in Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla. If you have any problems altering your settings, go to the Help facility on the browser toolbar. Also if your browser has different options to those below, you can get further assistance by clicking the toolbar's Help facility.

Internet Explorer (IE6 and higher)

To change the text size

On the browser Tools menu click "Internet Options"
On the General tab, click "Accessibility"
Select the "Ignore font sizes specified on web pages" tick box
Click "OK"
On the browser View menu, click "Text Size" and then choose the size you want

To change text and background colours

On the browser Tools menu click "Internet Options"
On the General tab, click "Accessibility"
Select the "Ignore colours specified on web pages" tick box
Click "OK"
On the General tab, click "Colors"
Deselect "Use Windows colours" tick box
Click the box next to "Text" and select a colour
Click "OK"
Click the box next to "Background" and select a colour
Click "OK"

To change the colour of links

On the browser Tools menu click "Internet Options"
On the General tab, click "Accessibility"
Select the "Ignore colours specified on web pages" tick box
Click "OK"
Click on "Colours", then click on the relevant colour box and choose the colour you want the "Visited" and "Unvisited" links to appear as
Click "OK"

To change the font

On the browser Tools menu click "Internet Options"
On the General tab, click "Accessibility"
Select the "Ignore font styles specified on web pages" tick box
Click "OK"
Click on "Fonts", then select the required font
Click "OK"

To change line length by changing the size and shape of browser window

Click the "Full Screen" button on the browser window, or on the browser "View" menu click "Full Screen", or press F11, or drag the window to the required size.

Prevent images/graphics appearing

On the browser Tools menu click "Internet Options"
On the Advanced tab, scroll down to "Multimedia" and deselect the following tick boxes: "Play animations in web pages", "Play videos in web pages", and "Show Pictures"
Click "Apply" then "OK"

Importing your own stylesheet

On the browser Tools menu click "Internet Options"
On the General tab, click "Accessibility"
Select the tick boxes that your stylesheet will override: colours, font styles, and font sizes
Click "OK"
On the General tab, click "Accessibility"
Select the "Format documents using my style sheet" tick box and browse to the required stylesheet and click "OK"

More options available to help you view websites

On the browser Tools menu click "Internet Options"
On the Advanced tab choose the options you want

Mozilla 2.0.0.11

To change the font and text size

On the Tools menu click "Options"
Select "Content" and choose required font and text size

To use these fonts for all future websites you visit:

Select "Advanced"
Deselect "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above

To change text, background and link colours

On the Tools menu click "Options"
Select "Content" and choose"Colours"
Click the "Text" box and select a colour
Click "OK"
Click the "Background" box and select a colour
Click "OK"
Click the "Unvisited links" box and select a colour
Click "OK"
Click the "Visited links" box and select a colour
Click "OK" to close the Preferences window

To use these colours in future select:

Deselect "Allow pages to choose their own colours, instead of my selections above

Prevent images/graphics appearing

On the Tools menu click "Options"
Select "Content"
Deselect "Load images automatically"

To change line length by changing the size and shape of browser window

Click the "Full Screen" button on the browser window, or on the browser "View" menu click "Full Screen", or drag the window to the required size.
